Women, Sport and Rights: the International Sport Film Festival dedicates a meeting to equality in sport
As part of the fourth edition of theInternational Sport Film Festival 2025, dedicated this year to the theme “Women in Sports” and taking place from 24 to 29 November in Castellammare di Stabia, a special event will be held on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The meeting, entitled “Women, Sport and Rights – A Shared Journey to Overcome Abuse and Stereotypes”, is organised in collaboration with the Equal Opportunities Committee of the Torre Annunziata Bar Association and the Torre Annunziata Bar Council.
The event will take place on 25 November 2025 at 3:30 pm, at the Banca Stabiese Conference Hall in Castellammare di Stabia.
The day will feature representatives from institutions, the legal sector, law enforcement and sport, including a delegation from the Castellammare di Stabia AIA section, currently led by its president Giuseppe Scarica, as well as Angela Procida, Italian swimmer and para-cyclist, and Giusy Sbaglio, Italian champion in para dance sport.
