Castellammare di Stabia hosts conference on the future of Italian athletics

As part of the 4th edition of the International Sport Film Festival, dedicated this year to the theme “Women in Sports”, the programme presents an event of major technical and scientific importance: the conference on 27 November 2025, scheduled at 6:00 pm at the Supercinema (97 Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Castellammare di Stabia).

The meeting's theme, “The future of Italian athletics: a new vision and innovative approaches”, focuses on the future development of athletic preparation, the use of advanced biomechanical-analysis tools and the integration of new methodological models into athletes’ training.

The conference will feature leading FIDAL representatives:

The contributions will offer an up-to-date overview of the challenges facing Italian athletics, highlighting the importance of applied research, creative planning and the digitalisation of training processes.

Technical-video screening

During the evening, the following video will be presented: “Making of… Atlante Dinamico degli Esercizi – Progetto Pista 2.0”, a work illustrating new tools for analysing and cataloguing athletic exercises.

Training and participation

Participation is free upon registration, and the conference is valid for FIDAL coaches to obtain 0.5 training credits.
