New developments for the next edition of the International Sport Film Festival presented at BMT

The International Sport Film Festival is presenting itself at the Mediterranean Tourism Exchange. During the event taking place at Mostra d’Oltremare, the festival dedicated to sports cinema featured at the Castellammare di Stabia stand.

During the fair, director Nicola D’Auria met visitors, tourism professionals and enthusiasts, presenting the International Sport Film Festival’s cultural project and previewing some of the developments connected with the next edition.

The Festival’s presence at BMT is an important promotional opportunity for the event, which over the years has strengthened its bond with the local area and with the worlds of sport and cinema.

Fifth edition in November

The next edition of the International Sport Film Festival will take place from 23 to 28 November in Castellammare di Stabia, confirming the city as a focal point for the festival devoted to sports films and documentaries.

“The International Sport Film Festival reaches its fifth edition with ambitious projects aimed both at schools throughout Italy and at international film professionals,” explained director Nicola D’Auria.

New opportunities for schools and professionals

Among the main new features of the next edition will be greater involvement of schools nationwide and high-value educational and professional-development meetings for the film sector.

The aim is to continue developing a festival able to bring together culture, sport and education, offering students, directors and industry professionals new opportunities to engage with one another.

Submissions are open

The submissions to take part in the Festival’s fifth edition opened only a few days ago, launching the journey towards the new November edition.

The International Sport Film Festival thus continues its path of growth, strengthening its national and international reach.
